Gong Xi Fa Cai people!!!
Yup! It's Chinese New Year 2009!
This year CNY fell on 26 & 27 Jan, now it is the 13th day, so it will soon past.. We, chinese, celebrate CNY for 15 days and on the last day, it is called the Chap Goh Meh..
On the 1st day, everyone was at home, including my sis Sharon. We had fun playing cards, it was a yearly routine that's filled with laughter and FUN! We spent close to 4 hours glued to the table! haha.. Next up, we had an impromptu session --photo-snapping session! To me, that was the most memorable moment through-out my CNY. When we went back to my parents' place, my sis Irene brought back her home-made cookies which were really good, so many types as well, and she also baked a few types of cakes. My sis in law didn't want to be left out, also attempted 2 types of cookies. There were just plenty of goodies at home!
As for myself, I baked 3 types of cookies for the first time, and it was a success! Yippeee! I am so proud of myself as I've made them from scratch, i.e I cooked the pineapple jam myself, I fried the peanuts and blend them myself! It was all hard work and lots of time involved.. days to be exact.

That was my CNY, spent with my family in a snippet.. I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was indeed a very memorable one.
